Yet most supermarkets take no responsibility for this. Food Chains focuses on an intrepid, highly lauded group of tomato pickers from Southern Florida – the CIW (Coalition of Immokalee Workers), who are revolutionizing farm labor. Their aim is to ensure a dignified life for farm workers and a more humane, transparent food industry.
